As part of the CEESEN-BENDER project, DOOR has successfully promoted the replication of its tools and services across Croatia.

Replication workshops and capacity-building sessions were held in the municipalities of Plitvička Jezera, Prelog, Gospić, and Sveti Petar Orehovec. These events introduced local stakeholders to two key digital tools: a building prioritization tool for objective grant allocation and an ROI calculator for energy renovation investments. Special focus was placed on ensuring that subsidies reach households most in need, countering the current trend where higher-income households benefit more.

In addition to tool presentations, DOOR provided hands-on training for local energy advisors on communicating with vulnerable groups, including renters and residents of older multi-apartment buildings. Local representatives showed strong interest in adapting the tools and pilot area roadmaps to their own development and energy planning strategies.

The prioritization tool was seen as particularly valuable for designing local co-financing schemes that target energy-poor households. Meanwhile, the ROI calculator was recognized as useful for both municipal building assessments and citizen advisory services. Through these activities, DOOR strengthened local cooperation and built advisory capacity to support direct resident consultations.
