Hector has over twenty years of experience working with civil society/third sector organizations in the United States and Estonia from various fields including energy management, environmental science and social services. He brings over a decade of experience lecturing on public policy, public management and civil society issues. Additionally, he has directed workshops for adult learners in areas like project management, fundraising, and policy analysis.
Hector has led various green transition and sustainability related EU projects, including the H2020 flagship project PANEL2050 (Partnership for New Energy Leadership 2050), CEESEU (Central and Eastern European Energy Union), CEESEU-DIGIT, CEESEN-BENDER and GoGreen. He has also conducted policy analyses in various fields, including interpersonal violence as part of the EU DAPHNE funded WHOSEFVA project (Working with Healthcare Organizations to Support Elderly Female Victims of Abuse).

Elis has MSc in environmental protection. She has over 20 years of experience in leading renewable energy projects on both national and EU level, project coordination, trainings and communication. During the past fourteen years, she has improved the cooperation network with local municipalities and policy makers in Estonia and CEE region.
Elis leads the UN SDG workgroup for EMU’s Green University initiative. Since 2006, she’s focused on cooperation and dissemination at the Centre of Renewable Energy. She organizes the annual “Investigation and Usage of Renewable Energy Sources” conference, gathering researchers, entrepreneurs, and politicians to discuss the most pressing matters and new developments of the field. In 2018-2019, she was Estonia’s representative to the International Energy Agency.

Ewa has over 3 years of experience with coordinating international projects focused on energy efficiency, climate resilience, and sustainable development. With a degree in Bioeconomy Engineering and Sustainable Development, she specializes in advancing green solutions, tackling energy poverty, supporting the regional/local planning and financing a just energy transition. Ewa collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders—including municipalities, regional authorities, housing cooperatives, academic institutions, NGOs, and private sector partners—to foster cross-sectoral cooperation and systemic change. Her core competencies include strategic project management, stakeholder engagement, methodological development, capacity building, event organization, and integrated communication.

Lenard’s expertise covers meteorology, climatology, forestry, environment, and arid lands resource sciences. He has dedicated much of his career to UN agencies and international organizations, with over 25 years of experience in international development. His focus areas include food security, poverty assessments, livelihoods, evaluations, project design and management (nutrition-sensitive agriculture, tropical peatlands, etc). He also specializes in sustainable livelihoods within the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, specifically addressing the climate crisis’s impact on natural ecosystems and social structures. Lenard coordinated and evaluated energy and climate action plans at the University of Tartu and has lectured on meteorology & climatology, water resources, and alternative energy.

Sander is currently studying BA in journalism and communications. He is managing most of CEESEN’s communication and dissemination activities, including content creation, communicating with various projects’ partners, and media relations. He has over 4 years of experience in coordinating and managing various youth projects.

Anette has BA in Psychology. She is managing most of CEESEN’s administrative tasks, including supporting communications with partners, organizing events, and assisting in submitting international funding proposals. She has over 6 years of experience in public performance.
